Travel days

1. Day: arrival - Constance

Individual arrival to the council town Constance with the many sights. You can find the living Middle Ages at the Rosgartenmuseum. The cafeteria in the inner courtyard of the museum invites you to stay.

2. Day: Constance - region Stein am Rhein (approx. 30-40 km)

Through picturesque fishermen's villages, along the Untersee lake, you reach the medieval city Stein am Rhein. High above the town lies the Hohenklingen castle, dating back to the Middle Ages. Pay a visit to the Lindwurm museum, before continuing to cycle to Gailingen, the pearl of the High Rhine.

3. Day: region Stein am Rhein - Radolfzell (approx. 22-35 km)

In the morning, you have time for a stroll through the city, before you arrive at the fishermen's village Radolfzell. The town enchants you with its charming atmosphere and a unique view of the Untersee lake.

4. Day: Radolfzell - region Überlinger See (approx. 26-34 km)

The appealing city Bodman decoys with its castle grounds. Pass the picturesque town Sipplingen and the monastery church of Birnau. In Unteruhldingen, a visit to the pile dwelling museum is recommended.

5. Day: region Überlinger See - region Friedrichshafen (approx. 23-45 km)

Meersburg, the city of museums, invites you back to the Middle Ages with its romantic corners. Your way leads you through wine and fruit cultures to Friedrichshafen with its zeppelin museum, which you should absolutely pay a visit.

6. Day: region Friedrichshafen - region Bregenz/Höchst (approx. 30-44 km)

You reach the Lake Constance metropolis Lindau through the natural reserve Eriskircher Ried. Pay a visit to the historic town and the lighthouses with the Löwenmole, the landmark of Lindau. In Bregenz, you should enjoy the beautiful view on the Pfänder (mountain) after riding up with a cable car.

7. Day: region Bregenz/Höchst - Swiss shore (approx. 20-34 km)

You reach Switzerland through the natural reserve of the Rhine delta and continue cycling to the city Rorschach with its beautiful "Kornhaus" (museum). Fruit and berry cultures still dominate this region.

8. Day: Swiss shore - Constance (approx. 33-37 km)

The last day belongs to the alpine upland of the Thurgau. The lakeshore invites you to relax, before you cycle back to Constance. At the SEA LIFE centre, you can plunge into a fascinating underwater world.

9. Day: Constance - departure

Individual departure from Constance.

The Lake Constance Cycle Path runs mainly on cycle paths or on quiet side streets, which are mostly asphalted. The major part of the route leads you in close proximity along the lake shore and is signed throughout.

Parking and arrival information
By train:
Depending on the hotel you are staying at in Constance, you can either get off at the Konstanz-Petershausen station or ride one station further to the main train station. You can take a taxi or the bus to the booked hotel. The connection information (route network map for downloading) of the bus routes can be found under www.stadtwerke-konstanz.de/mobilitaet/bus/fahrplaene/.

By car:
Coming from the A81 Stuttgart-Singen motorway: Entrance Constance on the street "Reichenaustraße", then half right towards Meersburg to the roundabout, take the 3rd exit (sign: Gewerbegebiet Oberlohn), stay on the street "Oberlohnstraße", over the bridge to the first traffic light, then turn sharply right onto the street "Bücklestraße". From here it is only 100 metres to our office.

Coming from the Meersburg-Konstanz ferry: On the street "Mainaustraße" for approx. 2 km in the direction of the city centre, at the traffic lights turn half right into the street "Allmannsdorfer Straße", at Zähringerplatz (square) right into the street "Willmatingerstraße", after approx. 1,6 km at the intersection left into the street "Oberlohnstraße", after approx. 130 metres left into the street "Bücklestraße" and after approx. 60 metres you will see our office on the right-hand side.

Coming from the old town: Cross the Rhine bridge, keep slightly left, turn onto the street "Theodor-Heuss-Straße", continue north-east (towards the street "Moltkestraße") to Zähringerplatz (square). Continue straight on into the street "Wollmatingerstraße", after approx. 1,6 km at the crossroads turn left into the street "Oberlohnstraße", after approx. 130 metres left into the street "Bücklestraße" and after approx. 60 metres you will see our office on the right side.

By plane:
The closest airport is Friedrichshafen (FDH).

Parking at our company area: We are pleased to inform you, that you can park your car for the duration of the bicycle tour on our company area at a flat fee of € 50,- per car. The number of parking spaces is limited.

Parking at the arrival hotels: The hotels have partially parking spaces directly at the building for fees of approx. € 10,- per night or in the proximity (free public parking or chargeable parking garages). For further information, you can contact the respective arrival hotel after receiving your hotel list.
