Individual arrival to the Bavarian capital.
2. Day:
Munich - Lake Starnberg
(approx. 58 km)
Your first cycling tour brings you from Munich via the Weßlinger and Pilsen lakes to lake Ammersee, the third largest lake in Bavaria. Have a short rest in Herrsching, in order to enjoy the fantastic view of the lake. After passing by the Andech monastery you will reach lake Starnberg. Those who would like to make today’s journey a little more comfortable, can also cycle directly to lake Starnberg (approx. 35 km).
3. Day:
Lake Starnberg - Lake Staffelsee
(approx. 45 km)
You cycle along the eastern side of lake Starnberg until you reach Seeshaupt. There is a lovely bathing place just before this where you can cool yourself down. An insider’s tip on this cycling trip is the splendid view over the romantic lake Riegsee, before you arrive at lake Staffelsee (in exceptional cases overnight stay at lake Kochelsee + 20 km).
4. Day:
Lake Staffelsee - Bad Tölz
(approx. 45 km)
Today’s cycling tour first leads along the Lake Constance-Königssee Lake-cycle path to the Kochelsee Lake. From there you cycle via Benediktbeuern and Bad Heilbrunn to Bad Tölz. The health resort, known through the TV series “Der Bulle von Tölz”, has a lot to offer. The love for tradition and one’s home is still a part of everyday life here. (For overnight stays on the day before at lake Kochelsee, todays day stage is only approx. 30 km).
5. Day:
Bad Tölz - Munich (departure)
(approx. 65 km)
Take absolutely a look at the Tölzer market street or on the baroque double church with the two slender towers (“crown from Tölz”) on the Kalvarienberg, before you cycle along the glacier green Isar towards Munich. Today's stage to Munich is rich at tourist attractions (monastery Schäftlarn, movie city Geiselgasteig, Hellabrunn Zoo,...). Alternatively there is the possibility to go from Bad Tölz to Holzkirchen by Oberlandbahn (on your own) and from there to cycle to Munich (approx. 35 km). The luggage will be transported not later than 06.00 pm to Munich. Afterwards individual departure or extension of trip.

The cycling tours are ridden on well signed and paved long distance cycle paths as well as on quiet side streets (only short sections of the cycling tours are on main roads) and partially dirt roads with routes in good condition. The few short ascents can also be managed easily by pushing one’s bike.
